“Are you okay?” Words pouring out from a bottomless well of human compassion, a waterfall song of what it means living to give. Full scope of the words appear to wane with repetition for those who mean it less, but the echo is the same under starry skies or sunlight paths the heartbreak is the same. Watching the fall, hearing his last words drop to the pavement shattering in a moment, they vanish “Are you okay?” No hun, none of us are with you gone.
So this is what happens when I write all on the prompts I can find easily on a sheet and then stare at them till my face prunes from crying... Enjoy. 🫂

The swet whisper of the #WaterfallSong
sings of the world behind the watery veil,
where there is an enternal spring & fairies
are flying from tree to tree, noshing on
the honey made from our old mistakes.
Some pople will only see the stonewall
behind the water, but they can only look,
but not see.

The voice of every waterfall.
But found none that would suffice –
You must hear, yourself, each call.
From a hike I was able to do this autumn, plus a winter one from a few years ago.

I watched love depart along your stream, A fading shimmer lost to distant foam; But grief need not erode your dream, For all lost loves will find some other home. Rest in my fall, where every drop I shed Remembers broken hearts can still be whole. I’ll cool the torrents raging through your head, With depths enough to soothe your fractured soul. So lean on me until your currents run strong, Let me ease your burden with my song.

Painting Waterfalls You took me on a secret trek into murky woodlands, and I wondered if you’d brought me here to kill. I turned my GPS on. But then, as you’d promised, we found the hidden waterfall and settled beside it to begin our lesson. You told me I could do anything as you guided my eyes and my mind. But you couldn’t guide my hand to tell the truth. The waterfall laughed, its bubbling song mocking my attempts. We laughed too, at my muddied splurge, and agreed that moving water wasn’t my thing, as we headed off for chips in the rain.
