Leaves fall down from the tree above. We keep just enough for mulching out weeds. As they decay they attract bugs, providing food source for the lizards. Eventually I'll get this planted.
More leaves. They also love to hide behind the cactus pots
We have rocks against the house for sunning on. They can also hide under the rocks. They are close together so they can travel back and forth safely protected from the feral cats. They also love to squeeze under the large green compost bin, and are not happy when I need to take it to the curb for emptying! Lastly I have cut holes in the siding on both sides of the can for a quick escape. It also gives them a dry, warmer place to over-winter under the house. Hopefully small enough that rats can't get in.
I was told if I wanted to attract #Lizards, they want 1) Leaves for hiding in, staying cool, and provide bugs to eat, 2) Rocks to sun on and hide under π 3) Other places to hide (from feral cats) and over-winter. They got it all here!
