Managed to find a few mins to get the tracks and details done, and then a doae of Streaking Grime and some mud effects... dings and weathering to come. LHS side is for comparison. Makeup sponges are the best...

Now this was great fun to do. The markers made it so easy. Was dreading cracking out the airbrush but this took about an hour and a half of work at most whilst listening to We Have Ways and the seige of Malta.

Building some hedgerows... just need to let them dry overnight and then can base them up. Nice to head back to scenery building after putting together so many tanks.

A slight change of scale. I got the Pz IVs for @tomjmegan.bsky.social festive tank challenge '24 and the Churchill to balance things up. The 4G is done, the 4H I'm pondering Normandy camo. The Churchill will be a test for my 15mm recipie to see if it upscales.

#WhatATanker week 2. On turn 1, a heroic T34 was destroyed by a demonic Konigstiger from 47". To avenge this, a trap was set. Lure the fascist vipers into the village. The Pz IV fell for it. Player 3 hurtled his ISU-152 in for the kill. But we ran out of time. @toofatlardies #spreadthelard

Battle report (kind of). At the school wargaming club I introduced #WhataTanker by #TwoFatLardies in amongst the 40K hubbub. First time for me and the student, and within the 45 minutes we picked up the basics and played a decent mini game as time permitted. (1)

Another little job finished off this week was colour matching these old crop fields to my newer Normandy terrain by applying the same home brew meadow mix. They need to be hit with a good spray of anti-shine, but other than that they’re good to go #15mm #BKC #CoC #FlamesofWar #WhataTanker

Details done, decals applied. The Pz IVs are ready for Friday night’s instalment of my Normandy campaign. When I started this little project the idea was to zoom in and out of action ranging from individual men to companies so I’ll be switching rules for the next game and playing #whatatanker #15mm
