Great-crested Flycatchers are Blue Jay sized birds with a distinctive call and another insect eater. As we continue to negatively impact insect populations so it impacts bird species like these. My habitat is chemical free allowing birds like these to find food. #bird #birdwatching #wilflife #nature

I rarely use any filters or editing on my photos, but this was an exception. I saw this bun at my job often, and it came so say goodbye on my last day. I got many photos, but they all came out blurry or grainy from a mix of zoom and my tremors. Too sweet not to post.

On the way home last night, beautiful golden light on a tree. I was attracted to the cavity in the Oak that's beginning to be attacked by fungi and bacteria - creating a hollow whereby I might find an owl living withing the bole. No such luck though. See comments for the other image.
