WWF's second go at this sort of event doesn't quite work. City-to-city clunky, guest color comms awful (not their fault), most matches dull. The only highlights were 20-man Battle Royale and British Bulldogs belt win.

The Los Angeles vibe for the third portion of #Wrestlemania2 was cool. In modern times, it would have been much more of what it was. We saw Terry Funk go through a table. We saw Hogan bloodying Bundy in a Cage. We saw the spectacle of Adrian Adonis. Not bad, not bad.
The #Wrestlemania2 Main Event is a little underwhelming but... then... I think that is only because I see it in hindsight. The WWF was red hot at this time. Hogan had a lot of big opponents over the years, like Bundy, Earthquake, Slaughter, and Sid. Andre and Savage stood out, obviously.
When Mattel makes our #JesseVentura figures, I really do hope they capture his #Wrestlemania2 look. He looked crazy and was so, so good at it. LOL
I do love a good Battle Royal and the #Wrestlemania2 Battle Royal is particularly awesome. I don't care too much about the football players but I do think it's cool Bruno Sammartino, Pedro Morales, Andre the Giant, the Hart Foundation, Iron Sheik, and Big John Studd, among others, are in this one.
You can see a massive leap in production values from #Wrestlemania1 to #Wrestlemania2. Three venues, three broadcast teams, and gosh knows what else. They're also doing solid voiceover interviews during matches from the wrestlers and they presented a video package when Ray Charles sang the anthem.
Alas, it is the last few days of my Christmas break and what better time to get into more #WWE on @netflix.com? I am re-watching all the pay-per-views from 1985 on and I am on the third of many-- #Wrestlemania2 from April 7, 1986. I was only 2yrs old when this happened so I only remember it on tape.
