I know for some of you Winter is not yet over and you all are weary of it but for South Georgia, #SummerSkies are back! This complex of storms featured over-shooting tops and some mammatus and moved from the Waycross area to Vidalia Last night.

The sky is mostly filled with thinner clouds - some fluffy, some more like long, somewhat thinner streaks. The small, fluffy clouds are mostly in the top left corner while the rest are the soft, streak-like ones. The sky is a mixture of lighter colors, gray, white from the sun's glow toward the top and just above the treeline, yellow from the sun towards the bottom left, and some blue peeking out from behind the clouds.

Again, as long as I'm getting enough sleep, waking up early enough to be on the road in time to see sunrise is 100% worth it.

#Sunset from the other night. Absolutely gorgeous. It didn't look exactly like this it was more blue and yellow but this is still a STUNNING photo of it.

The break is almost shaped like a hockey stick. The clouds are white and grey, and very thick and close together.

There is a rectangular chunk without any clouds taking up 90% of the height and about 25% of the width on the top left side of that. That chunk starts with a slightly darker blue to a more typical sky blue color. The clouds and the bottom are stratocumulus clouds, while the ones further up and closer to the camera are more cumulus, and far more spaced out from each other. The sun is just a little to the left of the top right corner, behind two clouds and is shining through and making a very bright spot in the thunder point of those two clouds. The sky behind the rest of the clouds is the same darker blue to the top that shifts to a much more sky blue in a gradiant.
