The Night Before Plot Three friends, Ethan, Chris and Isaac have always spent Christmas eve together, after Ethan's parents were killed in a car accident just before Christmas in 2001. Ever since then, they have been searching for the 'perfect' party, called the 'Nutcracker Ball' Now it's 2015, and for Isaac - who is a lawyer about to have a baby with wife Betsy, and Chris is the professional athlete he always wanted to be. Ethan, still stuck in the past, works the odd job - when he finds (and steals) three tickets to the party.

Trading Places Plot Louis Winthorpe is the managing director of Commodities Brokerage firm Duke & Duke - run by the uber wealthy brothers Mortimer and Randolph. The brothers witness one day an argument between Winthorpe, and the homeless Billy Ray Valentine. Believing anyone can really do what Winthorpe does, they concoct a plan to have Winthorpe fired, arrested and lose his girlfriend and friends - to be replaced by Valentine. Spirited Plot Following a another successful haunting, the Ghost of Christmas Present is trying to work out who to haunt next. 'Present' discovers a despicable man by the name of Clint Briggs, and he begs his boss Jacob Marley to be able to haunt him, even though he is an 'unredeemable'. Marley reluctantly agrees, after Present reminds him of a previous successful unredeemable 'save'. So 'Present' - along with 'Past' and 'Yet to Come' research for a year leading up to the haunt. When time comes to finally haunt him, things backfire, when Briggs is unable to be frightened, rather finding the whole ordeal hilarious.

Santa Clause 2 Plot Scott Calvin has now been Santa Claus for close to a decade, he is loved by all of his team - but struggles to maintain a relationship with his son Charlie - who is running amok at his school, much to the annoyance of his school Principal, Ms Newman. On the 1st of December, Scott discovers that there was an 'extra' Clause in the clause that turned him into Santa Claus... he must be married by Christmas Day - or he will lose his powers forever. Now he must head home to find a bride, and leaves a 'Toy Santa' in place of him to keep things in order at the north pole.

Now he's got Christmas eve to find the toy (instead of spending the day with his family), but this turns out to be a difficult task since Turbo Man is the most popular toy of all time, and has been sold out for weeks!

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang Plot At Christmas, a seasoned criminal Harry Lockheart accidentally stumbles into a job in Hollywood. At a party, he runs into an old flame from his youth, and meets a PI who has been hired to teach him about Investigator work. During their first night out training, they are thrown into a world of chaos when they witness a potential murder - and must try to work out "whodunit". Direction Directed by (and written by) 90's action writer superstar Shane Black. The action is fun (and some of the violence is both graphically realistic, and hilariously funny as well).

Deck the Halls Plot In a small town in Massachusetts, the local optometrist, Dr Steve Finch is the "Christmas" guy of the town. On the first of December he gets some new neighbours; in the form of car salesman Buddy Hall and his wife Tia (along with their teenage twin daughters). The families bond quickly, except for Steve - who takes a dislike to Buddy's need to have his house 'seen from space' on a new satellite website.

Gremlins 2 Plot Two years after the events of the first movie, Gizmo's owner has died (following a fight with Daniel Clamp, a greedy land developer who wants to buy his store for expanding his empire. He has been taken into a research facility owned by Clamp - and run by Dr Catheter a somewhat 'mad scientist', which is in Clamp Tower. It just so happens that Billy and Kate both work at Clamp Tower, and discover that Gizmo is there too. Now they must stop Gizmo from breaking the three rules; never get wet, never feed him after midnight and do not expose him to bright light.
