It’s clear the way he was perceived by fans & anti-fans following the airing of #AJourneyToLove (as well as media representations of his personal life) imposed images on the real flesh & blood person which had nothing to do with who he really was, & led people to act cruelly towards him

He has an unusual yet versatile look, so he’s not always recognisable drama to drama. I first saw him in #AJourneyToLove and then next in #AreYouTheOne, and it took me aaaaages to realise he was the same actor. He’s got good craft, and, as @alicepoonauthor.bsky.social says, deserves main lead.

I first discovered #ChangHuasen 常華森 in my favorite #wuxia #AJourneytoLove (with #LiuYuning and #LiuShishi as leads). He plays the lovesick and hubristic young thing who gets obsessed with the FL. I was impressed. Then he plays the 2nd ML opposite #GongJun in #BloodRiver & really shines.

He has been my favorite starting from #AJourneytoLove, my favorite #wuxia with #LiuYuning and #LiuShishi as leads. Chang played the lovesick and hubristic young thing who's obsessed with Liu Shishi's character.

This baybee and dem ears has been in some of the top dramas this year, #SwordAndBeloved,
#WhispersOfFate, #MoonlightMystique & of course #BloodRiver. But he will always be my little masochist with a humiliation kink, LiTong from #AJourneyToLove

Oh yes, much as I loved #AJourneyToLove I couldn’t finish it either

The same with shows like #KillMeLoveMe & #TheRiseofPhoenixes - great characters, gripping stories, but I couldn’t stay around for the bitter ending!

If I’m going to be put through grief & suffering, I want a positive resolution 🙂

Finally I finished watching #BloodRiver! I did sigh a sigh of relief about the ending 😊 and can't wait for S2!! My verdict: this is the best #wuxia #cdrama that I've watched in 2025! I think's it's better than #BloodofYouth and may be on par with #AJourneytoLove. I adore the Muyu-Changhe dynamics!!
