It’s been a little while since I’ve experienced an #AccessFail like this and while it’s Fine I thought take the moment to reflect on the really visceral felt experience of exclusion that these kinds of things generate

What is the point in complaining about #AccessFail s? I’ve had emails from two different train companies today about journeys where assistance went wrong. Both responses come down to “Your fault.” I got a refund so I win (ish), but can we please stop blaming disabled people for poor access support?

Hills can't be avoided in this city, but the pathways are actively hostile at times.

They said they'd like to make it accessible. We told them what they'd need to do. What they did was... ...that. With the result that they publicise it as being accessible, when we have to issue an access guide with massive health warnings. #AccessFail #TheyWereWarned #MyCycleMyMobilityAid

Really disappointing that the new Avanti West Coast trains have reduced the number of spaces available for wheelchair users / #disabled people and don't have level boarding. The cycle storage is the rubbish hanging up type that doesn't work for anyone. All round #AccessFail and #ActiveTravelFail

Today's #AccessFail almost, trying to get off the train. People standing around the door blocking the way and not pressing the door to open it. Had to ask if they were getting off and I got a collective gormless "no love, not getting off here". Like, well I am so move!
