Male #Anthomyiidae Chirosia albitarsis with it's depigmented front tarsal segments. Larvae of this genus feed on ferns. There's a lot of confusion as to each species' specific fern host. Perhaps because people who research Anthomyiidae aren't always the best at fern ID and v.v.

Delia penicillosa ♂ is a member of the #Anthomyiidae associated with coastal sand dunes. It is one of a small group of species with very fancy long setae on sternite three and a swollen second tarsomere on the middle leg.
