A sketch of a lore scene featuring my main OC, Rhys (they/she) After being dragged down a pit of miasma by the cruel hands of cultists, Rhys eventually resurfaced. In this scene, she is seen leaning against the wall of a deep cavern; she seems to be in search of an opening ahead. Remnants of the liquid miasma stain her unkempt hair and body. Her expression is numb, having cried so much during and after the ordeal. She is almost unaware of the physical changes she has undergone, made evident by an anomalous structure protruding through her chest, as well as a glowing eye.

A reference sheet of my main OC, Rhys (they/she): An elf with green hair that blends into a dark red at the ends. She has gilded eyes and tan skin, her complexion freckled. Tattoos adorn her forehead and cheeks, and she has a ring piercing on their bottom lip. They sport elaborate attire with earthy tones, mostly beige, brown, or red, with contrasting teal accents. Some parts of their attire are lined with fur, accented with belts, and trimmed in yellow. -- Pictured is a portrait, alongside two full-bodied variants. Her inventory items include woodcarving tools, a large rucksack, her bow, and quiver. The main text reads: " Rhys was once a ranger staking her claim on purpose, until an ally betrayed her to the encroaching miasma. As she sank beneath dark waters, she only remembered incoherent whispers and a lurching pull within their chest. Fate spared her little time to react, however. The next moment, she was gasping for air upon the surface, now carrying a curse that found its way into her beating heart. This was the second betrayal—by demise itself, and the world had presumed her dead for some time. Seeking answers behind the incident, Rhys eventually set off on their own, finding their way as a traveling merchant. Though they appear to have no real destination in their travels, their warm exterior belies the desperation within. A vague lead drives her journey to find those who she believes can help her. Come what may, they are not without a smile to the world and its ever-changing tides. "

Rhys has gold eyes—a result of alteration. Thought if one were to gaze carefully enough, they'd also notice it shimmers in varying hues. It becomes a lot more apparent when their powers surge, and their pupils also follow.

my oc, Rhys, depicted 6 months apart (from june to december) Rhys is an elf with green-red hair, tan skin, and freckles. tattoos are seen on their forehead and cheeks. they sport on a simpler, more symmetrical outfit design in the june iteration. their in-progress design is slightly more complex.

a polished sketch of my oc, Rhys, during her final arc (aka 'Eclipsed' Rhys). the colors are entirely monochrome. they are depicted in profile view, standing idly in a scene of ruination-- smoke, rubble, and debris flying past her. she is otherwise completely unaffected. her arms are drawn towards her torso, her head is down and her hair blows off to the side, obscuring her face. an evident tear streams down her cheek, as if in helpless remorse of the situation unfolding.
