Limitless,
existence expands
to an edge with no stars,
no radio signals, no light reaches

And what of us then?
our magnetism drawing
us to eachother, then outward
to the place without stars.

When we get there,
the light follows
and at last we see
ourselves.

Protesting the masked modern-day slave-catchers masquerading as justice masquerading as men. Be demure, obey what we say, not what is law. Ice in their tone Ice in their bones. Time slips and we forgot how we ended up here calling them a new Gestapo. The SS learned it from US, history doesn't exist in a vacuum and here it is repeating. We're enslaved, and still arguing over the color of wallpaper in our cages.

Placate us with half redacted truths, never mind the fear. Broil us in another unwinnable war. Pacify outrage with Patriot Games so we never know the score.

Add sexism, racism, ageism, ableism, and homophobia to taste. Brush heavily with neo-christo-fascism as a baste. Keep us quiet until the slaughter, stress spoils the meat. We are shackled inside the ovens of failed systems, and it’s almost time to eat. History proves the rich will devour the poor, before they ever let us free.
