Illustration à l’aquarelle dans un style naïf. Un souriceau est devant ses maisons un peu de guingois, du linge sèche entre deux conduits de cheminées. Des oiseaux sont sur des branches qui sortent des toits; l’un d’eux est accroché la tête en bas.
Souriceau est tout fier des maisons qu’il a bâties et les oiseaufoux y ont dejà élu domicile.

Ti descrivo le due foto che mi hai inviato. Foto 1 (disegno): Questa è la riproduzione ad acquerello di un palazzo. Il palazzo, di colore bianco con tetti verdastri, si trova in cima a una collina erbosa e presenta una facciata simmetrica con numerose finestre e cupole. In primo piano c'è un grande specchio d'acqua che riflette parzialmente l'edificio. Tra il palazzo e la vasca si trovano dei giardini con sentieri, un paio di panchine con delle figure sedute e una scalinata centrale che porta alla cima della collina. Sulla sinistra, in basso, si intravede una scultura, anch'essa parzialmente riflessa nell'acqua. Lo stile del disegno è semplice, con colori tenui che danno un'impressione di serenità.
Questa foto mostra il palazzo del Belvedere a Vienna, lo stesso soggetto del disegno precedente. La giornata è nuvolosa, con un cielo grigio che fa da sfondo all'edificio. Il palazzo è un'imponente costruzione barocca, di colore bianco, con i tetti di un caratteristico colore verde. L'edificio si erge in cima a una collinetta, e in primo piano si estendono dei giardini alla francese ben curati. Al centro della composizione c'è una grande vasca rettangolare, che riflette l'immagine del palazzo e il cielo. Sul lato sinistro della vasca si trova un'elaborata scultura in marmo che rappresenta delle figure mitologiche. Intorno ai giardini si vedono diverse persone che passeggiano o si riposano su delle panchine. A sinistra, si nota un albero e, in lontananza, si intravede una struttura metallica a traliccio.
