They typically will use their tongue to puncture and drain beings with exoskeletons, and bring beings with internal skeletons into their large pelican-like mouth to digest before spitting out anything incompatible.

This creature demands we pay respect to our wounds, compelling all in its area to give dues appropriate to what is owed, no matter how deeply buried the source of tears may be.
