I told you I only took two clicks on Saturday...I liked them both and this was the 2nd, of a male Gambel's Quail in profile and glorious morning light, this time with a shadow across his bill and that look in his eye...I've been spotted! And then he was gone in an instant. Zen.

I mean...it won't get any better up in here! I especially love the splotch of green in bokeh framing his face like an aura...splotch is too a word...but ALL the colors on this friendly male Gambel's Quail portrait look gorgeous in the morning light in my hummingbird spot. Zero hummingbirds tho...just the right amount of Zen for the day.
