Drake White-winged Scoter at Seacliff (19/04/26)
Now in its fourth calendar year, this drake White-winged Scoter has a unique penchant for hanging out with a pair of Eiders. Last seen at Musselburgh in June 2025 doing exactly that, and previously both at Yellowcraig (East Lothian) and at Wadbister Voe (Shetland) in October 2024, where it was initally found with Eiders.

Had a walk at the botanics today and saw a pair of very vocal Nuthatch going to and from a nest hole, as well as a flyover from a Raven.

Little ringed plover I discovered. First one seen at Musselburgh this year. Second individual was found by someone else.
