The end game: After 2 attempted assaults on the 1st Wespe battery the #BritishAirborne have broken, losing almost a complete company, to just 1 platoon of Germans.…..will make for an interesting next game in the campaign as they still control the road from the beaches #BlitzkriegCommander #15mm

Sorting the next scenario for my #15mm solo campaign of #BlitzkriegCommander in Normandy. Looks like the #BritishAirborne will be pushing through Besanien and trying to secure the area around the church on the South side of town where the Germans have Artillery dug in.

End game: Despite a valiant effort & getting around their left flank the Germans failed to counter against the #BritishAirborne who held the centre of the table. 7 units of Germans destroyed to 5 British. Dug in guns are good but need infantry support #15mm #BlitzkriegCommander

Turn 7 sees the Germans knock out the #BritishAirborne 6pdr, just 1 turn left and all is in the balance #15mm #BlitzkriegCommander

Turn 5: Despite the benefits of being dug in the #BritishAirborne Pack75mm is lost to a combination of German mortar and small arms fire #15mm #BlitzkriegCommander

It’s really not going well for the Germans: their PAK40 got into position but was almost immediately knocked out by a combination of 6lber and Pack75 fire thanks to a lucky command bonus roll by the #BritishAirborne #15mm #BlitzkriegCommander

Well it was a VERY close game with the #BritishAirborne snatching a victory in the last turn by successfully assaulting the Germans holding the bridge under the cover of more carefully placed smoke. Close as the Allies also reached their breakpoint, but battled on #BKC #15mm #BlitzkriegCommander
