Bogong moths have started their long migration from across Australia to the Aussie alps. Invertebrates Australia is calling on citizen scientists to help keep tabs on the endangered moth by snapping pics of any sightings 🧪

Today ABC reported on mass #BogongMoth arrival in Sydney. Shame they’re attracted to bright light. 2021 IUCN added it to red list #threatenedspecies. Talk about swings & roundabouts. 🤷
