Consider White Cotes du Rhone: Louis Bernard 2023 Many people think of red Rhône wines, but there are terrific white wines as well.  I received a bottle of Louis Bernard Côtes du Rhône 2023 to tell you about.  It is a blend that features Grenache Blanc, Bourboulenc, Clairette, and Roussanne grapes.   Grenache Blanc is a full-bodied white grape with a round mouthfeel, offering ripe pear, green apple, and citrus aromas, often accompanied by a subtle herbal or saline note.

Yellow in color with a golden hue. Pretty nose and medium plus in body with medium acidity. Dry on the palate and buttery, with nice complexity. Showing lemons, apples, pears, light earth, light vegetables, herbs and spices. Medium finish with lemons and light almonds. This is a very enjoyable white wine from Cotes du Rhône. Fruit forward and elegant. Much nicer than I expected. Easy drinking and engaging. A good food wine that will pair nicely with seafood. A blend of 40% Clairette, 30% Bourboulenc, 20% Grenache blanc and 10% Ugni Blanc. Aged in stainless steel vats for 4 months. 14% alcohol by volume. 88 points. $20.
