Authorities need to ensure there are enough buses and staff deployed, there's accurate timely information, and on-road priority for buses to help people keep moving.

Seems like the same thing as in Melbourne: when an unplanned disruption happens, the quickest workaround is to find another regular service - not wait for the replacement buses. But staff (and passengers) are often unaware of the options. #bustitution

For rail replacement buses, sometimes they cover the area with wayfinding signs, information, and put staff at stops. Other times like this there's virtually nothing.
And despite rail buses running all night on weekends, this stop is not a 24 hour Bus Zone.
