Les humains sont des animaux grégaires. Ils ont besoin du contact avec d’autres humains. De plus en plus de gens s’isolent et passent beaucoup de temps sur des machines: scroller sur le téléphone, regarder une série, utiliser l’intelligence artificielle pour des tâches bénignes, etc. Cette attitude a été favorisée par la crise du Covid. Les études ont prouvé que cela diminue l’intelligence, même chez les gens qui étaient intelligents avant. A force d’utiliser les machines, ces gens n’utilisent pas leur réflexion et ils perdent ainsi leurs capacités à réfléchir. De plus en plus de gens ont une attitude consumériste vis à vis des autres êtres humains. S’ils trouvent un défaut à la personne, ils arrêtent de la fréquenter. Au moindre désaccord, ils arrêtent la relation. Ils se coupent ainsi du contact social dont l’être humain a tant besoin. Ils se coupent aussi des qualités et des bonnes idées de ces personnes. Si une personne dans un groupe leur déplaît, si une personne a un moment de méchanceté, ils arrêtent de fréquenter l’ensemble du groupe. Or, arrêter de fréquenter un groupe est bien plus mauvais pour l’individu que de recevoir une ou deux réflexions désagréables. De plus, même les pires personnes ont parfois de bonnes remarques qui peuvent challenger les idées préconçues des autres. Bien sûr il faut éviter les groupes antipathiques et les personnes nocives, mais il faut aussi savoir faire la part des choses. Se conforter en ne s’entourant que d’informations qui plaisent est très mauvais. C’est ce que font les réseaux sociaux et certains journaux sur papier, à la télévision ou sur internet. On voit bien dans l’histoire que les rois qui ne s’entouraient que de gens qui les flattaient ont fait de grosses erreurs. Par exemple, Richard II en Angleterre. La confrontation a du bon. Il faut tester ses idées avec les autres. Les humains ont besoin des autres pour prendre du recul et réfléchir. Pour vivre ensemble, il faut de la tolérance. Ecouter, chercher à compren…
