A old country store I passed while driving through rural North Carolina. I'm not sure if this one is still active but growing up we had a store similar to this at the end of the road. We called it "Red Wings", not that it was the name of the store, it wasn't, but because the proprietor used to sit behind the counter with a guitar and his favorite tune to play was a very old (even then) country tune called "Red Wing". Ah, penny candy and nostalgic memories, what a combination.
Growing up there was a country store not dissimilar to this at the end of the road. See ALT for more.
