In more general #CrustaceanStation news, my bigger enclosure for the wild caught Armadillidium vulgare isopods arrived and I need to set it up. It is roughly the size of three of the small enclosures put together.

Squat lobsters!! 🦀
- Flat crustaceans, they are more related to hermit crabs than actual lobsters
- They tend to be on the smaller side, ranging from 0.7 - 3.5 inches (small)
- They feed by filter feeding, predators, scavengers, and detritus feeders.
