a striking and quite VIVID vintage 1970s handmade copper enamel geometric modernist 'hard-edge' design artwork by Canadian artist/enamelist Daniel Briard of Quebec. A simple yet bold design of a bull's eye in red and white, off center and with slight lines drawn thru the white enamel give the design greater depth and complexity. Measures 7" diameter by 1/2" high at rim. Marked at back as shown with hand-signature in white enamel over gray ground, "D. Briard 78" for Daniel Briard 1978. The enamel is nearly mint condition.
