Committee advances training requirements for high‑risk Medicaid providers, seeks accountability House File 4638 would require standardized pre‑enrollment and ongoing training for providers of high‑risk services and create reporting and compliance measures; multiple providers and advocates supported the effort while disability advocates urged clarity on agency accountability and retaliation protections.

A new bill in Minnesota aims to enhance training for high-risk Medicaid providers while addressing accountability and reporting concerns raised by advocates.
