Photo shows half of a Dandelion flowerhead on the left, with a hoverfly perched on the right hand side of it. Behind this is mainly green leaves.
#WildflowerHour One of my #FavouritePlants, photographed this week, is the Dandelion. It's a wonderful Spring flower, but it will flower again and again where it's mowed. It's bright and cheerful, and a great #pollinatorpal, too. This one is providing food for a nice little Hoverfly.

Bramble -- a tip that had must have started rooting? I am imagining my head growing roots, my feet fusing & leafing, as the sap reverses, but of course these are just tales of what it wd be like for me to be a bramble, not real bramble news. #FavouritePlants #WildflowerHour
Snowed in, but with Daphne bholua scenting the whole garden I'm happy to stay put and breathe deeply #favouriteplants http://t.co/yjr6TbCc
