Some #Secwepemc villages were built around our qé7p'ucwellp (beaked hazelnut shrub; qé7p'ucw is the nut itself) #ForestGardens, including my band. We extensively traded qé7p'ucw, too.
Those villages were displaced to reserves and most of our qé7p'ucwellp patches were razed for settler agriculture.
