If your travels bring you to the #pnw, check out Franklin Falls trail. Super easy. Only a couple miles round trip with very little elevation gain. Great for kids, seniors and all the 4 legged family members. Year round access right off I-90.

A vibrant mountain pool at the base of a small waterfall at Upper Franklin Falls, Washington. Clear turquoise-green water reveals smooth rocks beneath the surface, with sunlight glinting through the ripples. Franklin Falls, located near Snoqualmie Pass in Washington, cascades in a tall, narrow stream from the top of a rocky cliff into a turquoise pool below. The rugged cliff walls are streaked with earthy reds, browns, and mossy greens, while dense evergreen forest surrounds the scene above. Mist rises at the base of the falls where the water crashes into the basin, scattering droplets across the rocky foreground. The image captures the raw beauty and energy of this iconic Pacific Northwest waterfall.

I hiked up to Franklin Falls today and the view was worth every step.

#FranklinFalls is tucked between the eastbound and westbound lanes of I-90 with a well-established & heavily used trail gaining access to the bottom of the falls. Located just a few miles west from #SnoqualmiePass this is a jewel of #Washington state.
