Oopsโ€ฆ I did it again. Instead of finishing my main project in Unity, I got sidetracked learning Love2D/Lua... and then sidetracked again with Godot ๐Ÿ˜„ Now Iโ€™ve got a nice little classic Zelda-like prototype.

When you pick up coding a project again after a couple weeks and realise you stopped coding something mid-line, it doesn't compile until you fix it, and can't remember what you were trying to do #gamedevproblems

The feeling of spending four hours going through code trying to find a graphical glitch only to find out that you just forgot to add the new element type to the renderer's content counter system.

One boolean = four hours.

In the first iteration, you simply "collected" finished food but I want to make it interactable this time

Giving possibility to send out the wrong food, or even burnt food

The plate system works for this, but feels too simple to me
