Gruffalo’s child My son decided he wanted to dress up as the Gruffalo's child for book week. I could buy a costume or... I could challenge my crochet skills. I bought a plain headband and explored different ways to create the ears. The entire thing was trial and error, seeing what happened. Not pictured in the photo, but I also made a tail, crocheting a pipe shape, adding stuffing and some tail strands at the bottom. We pinned this to his jacket (that had purple prickle stickers on it!)
