Art batt from K. O. Knits spun on a small spindle from Herons Llyn farm. Colors are mostly blue with additions from across the rainbow with sparkles.

So, we decided to ply this with some Shetland (the natural black fleece I've been working through had some really short bits) that was carded and spindle spun. We like how the art batt bits pop against the black. I like that I'm using some of the small bits of the fleece.

I decided to treat myself to something I've not used before.
This is a batt of mixed fibers (animal, vegetable, and sparkle) spun on a spindle made from discarded mahogany. It's been fun so far.
Did I buy fiber after dying 500 g of top last week? Umm, no comment...
