Dark ruby/ purple in color with a reddish rim. Fruity nose and medium plus in body with medium plus acidity. Dry on the palate with mild complexity. Showing red cherries, plums, light oak, spices and chocolate notes. Tangy finish with soft tannins and tangy cranberries. Rich and fruit forward. Nicely balanced and elegant with a soft mouthfeel. A blend of 64% Merlot and 36% Cabernet Sauvignon. 13.5% alcohol by volume. 88 points. $30.

Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim. Medium plus in body with medium acidity. Dry on the palate with mild complexity. Red fruits on the nose and on the palate with light wood, spices, plums, tobacco leaf, earth and chocolate notes. Medium finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries. Elegant and fruity. Smooth and plush. A little unbalanced, but drinkable nonetheless. A blend of 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot and 26% Petit Verdot. Aged in (33% new) French Oak barrels for 9 months. 13.5% alcohol by volume. 88 points. $17.
