This beautifully hand crafted side table caught our attention thanks to its excellent proportions and to its brass feet in the shape of mallard heads. Produced by the distinguished luxury furniture and decor manufacturer Maitland-Smith, this side table is set on a black metal frame, on which a vegetable-tanned and tooled leather top rests on a wooden base. A brass rosette on each side of the X-shaped frame adds an additional touch of elegance. The table is in very good sturdy condition with only little signs of its age and use. One of the duck heads has a little chip on the underside of its beak, which is only visible when the table is inspected upside down (as shown in the photos). Thanks to its color scheme this side table will be a great match with most interior decor styles and add an unobtrusive touch of Hollywood Regency to its new home. Dimensions: Height: 60 cm (23.6 in) Length: 60 cm (23.6 in) Depth: 40 cm (15.7 in)

This Hollywood Regency lamp caught our attention because of its exceptional design and cubist structure. The designer used squares and cubes to form triangles and pyramids in this sculptural reinterpretation of what a table lamp should look like. As mesmerizing as a print by Escher, the reflective brass and chrome tubes of the body have been arranged in the shape of an upwards pointing cube that is open on three sides - allowing the body to rest on three corners. This idea of the three-sided cube is continued in the lamp shade, which is resting on three chrome tubes which also hold the sockets for the three light bulbs. This style of bicolor lamps is often associated with the designers Willy Rizzo and Romeo Rega and geometrical brass and chrome lamps were produced by various companies such as Lumica or Arte Lumen. And while this lamp may not have a makers mark or brand sticker, it is still a magnificent piece of mid-century design. In very good condition, this very large and rather heavy table lamp comes with its original brass capped shade, which has only very minor signs of its age .

This glamorous table lamp with a carved wooden body in the shape of a pineapple probably hails from France in the early half of the last century. Raised on a square base and decorated in black and gold this rather large light fixture exudes sophisticated confidence. The pineapple crown consist of gilt metal leaves from which the central rod rises culminating in a flower calyx holding the lightbulb socket. Overall in good condition, the metal parts of this lamp have acquired a graceful patina. Not surprising given its age, there are some minor spots where the paint has flaked off and the red undercoat is showing through - adding to the lamp's vintage appeal. Dimensions: Height: 74 cm (29.1 in) Base: 18 x 18 cm (7 x 7 in)

While the tulip base is typically associated with the iconic designs of Eero Saarinen for Knoll, Tura successfully developed the idea further, by covering the table top in his signature lacquered goatskin and giving it a marble like finish! In very good condition and with only very few signs of its age and use, this table was masterfully handcrafted from high quality materials and the original Aldo Tura stickers are still attached to the underside of the table. An elegantly shaped swanneck side table by Maison Jansen hailing from France in the 1970s. The curule shape of the frame is a clear nod to the neo-classical origins of Maison Jansen during the Belle Époque when the Parisian company was famously the interior decorator of choice for royalty and high society alike. The swan feet and swan necks are made from gilded brass, which has retained its beautiful shine. Especially the sawn heads are more stylized and sleek in their design and give these tables a more mid-century modern look. This modern take is also reflected in the use of brushed stainless steel in the frame. The glass top is framed in brass and completes this lustrous table.
