My begonia rex, think it's called 'fireworks'. It's my first foray into keeping this plant but it was a smal just rootedl cutting when I got it a few months ago so it must be fairly happy.

How’s this for a stunning and unique Cymbidium? Just taken delivery of this C. erythraeum x Mighty Mouse from the lovely @mcbeans_orchids. Very elegant with copper-brown petals, a white and yellow lip blotched with red, and a light fragrance too #orchid #houseplanthour

If I was a bee I’d just want to snuggle up & sleep inside the lip of this glorious orchid. Coelogyne mooreana - from montane cloud forest in Vietnam - flowering for me for 1st time with large, snow white flowers & lip stained egg-yolk yellow. Just magnificent #houseplanthour

Surely the most spectacular lip of any orchid? Pleione x Confirmation is a hybrid between two autumn-flowering species, P. maculata and P. praecox. It flowers once it’s dropped its leaves and grows easily in our unheated conservatory #houseplanthour @TheMathersFoun1

Quick and late #HouseplantHour tweet as a warning for anyone else growing this Alocasia ?lauterbachiana - mine flowered and I didn't know; for two days I hunted for what had died or gone mouldy in the room 😬😖🤢 started strongly about 8 or 9 am & then faded.

Finally had some success with Streptocarpus, this one called 'Leah' and much darker than it appears in the photograph #houseplanthour
