The Jewish and communist #resistance fighter Emil Carlebach would have been 111 years old today. He spent 12 years in penitentiaries and the #Dachau and #Buchenwald concentration camps. After 1945, he worked as a journalist, co-founded the #VVN and was First Vice President of the #ICBD.
