“Hm, I might need to start a fire in the fireplace,” Lysander muttered, rubbing his arms. “Maybe I should’ve checked the weather forecast.” “Yes, you should have,” Seri teased. “But did you? No, of course not.” “Oh, stop it.” Lysander tapped Seri on the leg with his cane. Inarora gave a shaky smile. Despite the conflicting range of emotions in her mind, she couldn’t help but notice that at least Sutari Seri had not changed much in the past fifty years: he was still the same sarcastic elf she knew and loved. Banter was his love language.
