Our 4th Symposium speaker: Katharina Bürstenbinder is back in Halle (@unihalle.bsky.social)! She’s presenting her lab’s work on IQDs as plant‑specific hubs linking signaling & cytoskeleton - aiming to bridge the scales from organismal growth to molecular mechanisms. #IPB2026
Next, @structplantbio.bsky.social is sharing on inositol pyrophosphates' regulatory function and their implication in plant #phosphate homeostasis - with beautiful #structuralbiology. In addition, there's still a lot of plant InsPs and interactors and interactions out there. 🅿️🌱 #IPB2026
Changing gears and diving into #phosphorus: Matthew Pasek, as our second #IPB2026 speaker, really expands our view. Deep sea, other planets, lightning chemistry, biogeochemistry - fascinating perspectives that are rarely on our plant researchers' minds, but so interesting to see a bigger picture.

Back in Halle and it feels good🥳. Really enjoyed the session on auxin response factors, especially the link between transcriptional control and spatial patterning. Lots to think about for my Auxin perturbation assays💃. Already thinking how to bring some of this into my experiments.
