Multi-marker eDNA metabarcoding revealed contrasting biodiversity organization and assembly in two alpine river systems on the Qinghai–Xizang Plateau. Climatic and hydrological gradients structured community composition and interactions. Co-occurrence networks showed cohesive communities in the cold Yellow River but modular, flexible ones in the monsoon-influenced Nujiang River.

Using 485 nuclear orthologous loci and complete chloroplast genomes from 108 globally distributed samples (57 species), this diagram illustrates phylogenetic relationships within Lonicera. Coalescent-based analyses revealed that incomplete lineage sorting is the dominant source of discordance, whereas introgression is widespread but weak and contributes little to topological conflict.
