My parents go started camping because it was all they could afford but fell in love with it. When I married, we started camping. My wife started reluctantly and out of love as she did not have good memories of camping. Soon, we both fell in love with camping together. We took our kids and focused on National and State Parks. National parks had started a Junior Ranger Program to get kids to learn and engage more with parks. I was glad for them and loved it but envious that the programs did not exist in my day. Now, as a grandparent, the have opened up Junior ranger programs to all ages. So, of course, I am beginning g to jump in. How fun to become a Junior Ranger with my granddaughters at Yellowstone National Park.
#TheCampfire I have always loved national parks. I was jealous of my kids getting to do Junior Ranger programs as they did not have them when I was a kid. Story in alt! Photo by my daughter-in-law #EastCoastKin #Yellowstone #YellowstneNationalPark #JuniorRanger
