Though they’re perennials in warmer zones and annuals up here, I still plant lantanas as a front-walkway border each year as you can see here. They’re sweet, and honestly, they don’t ask for much care despite looking delicate.
Thought I’d try growing this deep orange celosia this year. It’s called “Twisted,” but the neighbor’s kids just call them “monster brains.”
My husband’s favorite flower is the gerbera daisy. I plant them every year for him, near my roses. 🥰 (My bridal bouquet was white gerberas for him and white roses for me).
I plant new coleus almost every year. My first time planting this bright orange-red-bronze one! It’s the Proven Winners “Sedona Sunset.” Doing great with our crazy weather!

What a difference a low humidity makes. 88f/31c but at 40% humidity, it's very much bearable except for mosquitos, as you can see Kengo lying on overgrown grass.
