I mentioned this at #LESSS2024. It's live now!

I didn't have as many for the other days, but I will do the same. Unfortunately, I'm still trying to catch up with the recordings! There may be some chaos that doesn't stay matched with time sequence. #LESSS2024

Maybe it was part of a #LESSS2024 presentation?

Introduction to Advanced Reviews – Research Moment

Since #LESSS2024 and #ESIcon24 dragged me back onto social media, maybe I should plug my most recent blog post discussing how we got to the terminology of Advanced Reviews for our ES support at UNL libraries

Same! I posted to #LESSS2024 the first day, but then became overwhelmed juggling it and other meetings. It’s conference season.

@libraryvines.bsky.social! You switched the hashtag halfway through! #LESSS2024 and #LESSS24 (though you did should initiative and create a hashtag when there wasn’t one - thank you). Am going to put both versions on my list.

I've been quiet but I HAVE been attending #LESSS2024 and I'm excited for @carrieprice.bsky.social's presentation on her YouTube channel. Because I share it with everyone.

What a powerhouse panel to start out Day 3 of #LESSS2024. 😍 Note to self: more boundaries, lean in to the waiting list, and keep on learning from other ES services.

Nice to get the validation that I am not the only one who calls them "zombie reviews." #medlibs #LESSS2024

day three of #LESSS2024 - starting off with a great panel of experiences with different scales of ES services. A recurring indication that these service/collaboration models can be flexible to meet user needs and library staff feasibility.

Just learned about BlueSky from #LESSS2024. So far, so good. Great replacement of Twitter.

For a shareable option to give students/researcher teams, we've developed an Excel one. But it is designed for an individual review.

I appreciated learning about Microsoft Planner, which has some of the Trello functions I had liked. I've created a personal planner already as a test :) #LESSS2024

#LESSS2024 My brain is wrestling w/ this. I think 2 things can be true: 1) I love that the librarians are doing data extraction training for users. That's so needed. and.. 2) I also wish that academic departments would take a lead on things like this so librarians could focus on lit search-y things.

Autocorrect errors in Excel still creating genomics headache Despite geneticists being warned about spreadsheet problems, 30% of published papers contain mangled gene names in supplementary data. Despite geneticists being warned about spreadsheet problems, 30% ...

#LESSS2024 Great point from Leila Ledbetter & Steph Hendren for "Planting the Seeds for Data Extraction" to not use excel for data extraction because of errors. Reminded me of the issues genomics research has with gene names being autocorrected to dates!!!! 😳 www.nature.com/articles/d41...

I was in the middle of typing a thoughtful comment in the Q&A when the current #LESSS2024 session kicked us out suddenly and I lost it. I guess I should have typed it over here instead.

Microsoft Lists vs. Airtable as a SR project management tool is a fair question. Are there systems others have used? (Trello, Notion, Obsidian, one giant Excel file, etc) #LESSS2024
