Well, I would say we can celebrate the small success of over-riding multiple fronters with medical anxiety this morning and actually forcing us to go get the halter monitor we were referred for. Even if it was horrifically early, we still did it! And that's a win, for us 🥳

It's three days since my ER visit..... My arm still hurts!!! Getting poked up there is awful

And the worst part? They didn't get it so someone else poked me in the back of the hand - which is now my second least favorite place to get an IV.

Absolutely. I'm able to access medical support that my mum can't because of years of #MedTrauma.

We *urgently* need pathways for coping with #MedicalTrauma. It's WAY past time to admit it's a HUGE problem. So many #EDS & other #ChronicPain patients have deeply embedded #MedTrauma from decades of #gaslighting, #misdiagnosis, #neglect, #pain & 'bad apple' medics - racists, sexists, ableists et al
