Day 25: Sweetest romance of 2025.

The winner are Choi Hyun Wook and Moon Ga Young in #MyDearestNemesis. Meeting in a game, and just being adults with a really childish but cute side made this the winner.

Day 19: A drama that made you laugh.

Nothing really stands out this year when it comes to humorous moments.

I will give this award to #MyDearestNemesis though, it had some funny moments especially with their younger selves, plus both of the leads have great comedic timing!

I agree he was good here - & more recently in #MyDearestNemesis & WLGYT - but for me the absolute highlight of #CastawayDiva was when Park Eun-bin’s character starts secretly singing in the background; especially once you know it is *actually* Park Eun-bin singing! 🤩

I finished #MyDearestNemesis. It didn’t make my heart go du-gung du-gung, but neither did it stress me out. It had lots of sweet moments, healthy communication, and no serial killers. In Spanish, I would say “se deja ver” or “para pasar el rato.” In Korean, I would say 별로 “byeollo.”

Today #MyDearestNemesis kept me company as I baked pies. This kdrama is so predictable and full of clichés that I didn’t need to give it my full attention as I peeled and sliced apples. Good news: my Korean has improved to the point where I only needed to read half the subtitles 👍

Watched #MyDearestNemesis in about 3 days. Such a charming little story, loved to have an "otaku" male lead. Wasn't exactly groundbreaking but did give me an idea to make my office/nerdy space a hidden room in my house. That way people won't touch my SHRINee 😂

As a language nerd, this is what I live for: I need to read Korean and speak Japanese to know that the Spanish subtitles are wrong. 키미와 아쿠마 is きみはあくま or “kimi-wa akuma” which means “You’re the devil” but “Soy el diablo” means “I’m the devil. #MyDearestNemesis

#MyDearestNemesis was getting a bit too lazy for me, with tropes replacing actual character development. Was considering dropping.

And then they gave us a 2FL who catches the 2ML as he falls, and says things like “Do you want to sleep with me?” Okay, THIS is new and refreshing. ▶️

Keep thinking how the first episode of #MyDearestNemesis is almost a live-action Isekai, with its depiction of the characters’ interactions in an MMO. Are there any other #kdramas like that?

It is kinda poetic that #MyDearestNemesis took this crown from #KingTheLand, which was an Im Yoon-ah #kdrama and now she took it back with #BonAppetitYourMajesty.

My usual logic self didn't even get annoyed how that ending makes 0 logical sense; it still made me smile and satisfied with it.

And that's how you uphold a romcom covenant. 12 episodes of joy.
