I felt like colors this year and brewed egg paints in the kitchen. Turmeric (lots of), beetroot (lots of, note to self: get fresh one next time), purple cabbage (lots of), onion peels (lots of). I've been saving peels for months!

Scouring cotton shirts (white cotton really is as gross as they say), picking scentless chamomile flowers, and simmering them. Then tannin and alum, then dyeing.

I like working with linen way better but this was an experiment.
