Turns out this male and a female were nesting in a bush at the corner of the building. I also captured her in a couple of photos, one with nesting material in her beak. The really cool thing was, as I was sitting there, a delivery guy pulled up, saw my equipment, and said, "Sigma lens?" He knew his stuff!
Yesterday I felt compelled to go out back with the Sigma 150-600mm lens. It's really heavy, so I only use it occasionally. Instead of chasing birds, I sat on the step and waited. Within minutes, this male house finch appeared. 😊 #birds #birdphotography #finch #NEOhio #spring #photography
