Built in 1927, this building features a Neo-Renaissance exterior with Art Deco elements integrated throughout its interior. It is characterized by its heavy stone walls and elegant arched windows. Such a timeless beauty in Yokohama.

The photo shows the massive entrance hall of the local town hall of the 10th arrondissement of Paris, France.
The town hall of the 10th arrondissement is located at 72 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Martin.
It was built between 1892 and 1896 by French architect Eugène Rouyer and was by far the most expensive town hall of all 20 town halls in Paris.
It was inaugurated on January 28, 1896 in the presence of the President of the Republic, Félix Faure, a native of the district.
The imposing entrance hall is designed in the form of an atrium. It is illuminated by a skylight in the ceiling. Opposite the entrance is the monumental grand staircase, which leads to the ballroom and wedding hall on the second floor. Halfway up, the staircase splits into a right and left wing.
The current mayor of the 10th arrondissement is Alexandra Cordebard since 2017.

Two sculpted figures in pale stone, muscular and weathered, frame a polished wooden double door with glass panels, their arms raised as if holding up the curved balcony above. The creamy façade is decorated with classical details and dark blue tiles, while the door’s warm tones and soft reflections contrast with the cool, monumental stonework. The composition feels both imposing and inviting, blending strength with elegance.

#Groningen station has recently been beautifully renovated and drastically modified from a head-end station to a through-station. The station hall though is absolutely gorgeous!

Details of my chairs Henri II's vacations :) This is an experience in painting leather. I have two but they are just accent chairs, they have several repairs that make them fragile to sit on.

Why couldn't I go into Osaka City Central Public Hall? Because it was graduation day for students. I did enjoy seeing the exterior of the building.

なぜ大阪市中央公会堂に入れなかったのか。 学生にとっては卒業式の日だったので。 建物の外観を見るのがとても楽しかったです。
