Feet wearing knitted slippers in blocks of super chunky dark grey, light grey and cream wool.
Today I finished these SUPER EASY slippers for one of the teens.
I used up some wool I had left over from a previous project so the colour blocks are completely random, but I had exactly the amount I needed so that was satisfying!
Teen very happy with them so that’s a win.

Two red knitted fingerless gloves. The one on the right is lying on it side, and has three patches of yellow yarn peeking through where holes have been darned.
The same gloves but the mended one has been turned inside out. 3 Gold and green yarn patches of darning take up quite a bit of the surface! This is not the tidiest darning in the world but it looks like it’ll do the job.
My 1st attempt at darning to repair moth holes, from the outside & inside. The poor glove on the right had 3 holes that were out of control.
Wow, that’s a lot of extra yarn inside! 😆
Next time I’ll make smaller loops at the end of each row. Thinner ply yarn would be been handy too!

#quilting #nzcraft I’ve finished the borders - mostly dark with a couple of flashes of bright. I think it fits the mood of the message. Now to layer and quilt. I’m looking forward to free motion quilting lots of wild words all over this piece.
Blue fabric bag folded into thirds and then into thirds again. Fabric bag tucks into handle, so nice and tidy. Fits in the glove box in the car, for when I need a bag.

Super pleased with my “car bag”. Took 1 1/2 hours to build. 90 cm x 45 cm main fabric. Band 45cm x 12cm. (X2). Handle gap 15 cm. French seams.

Ok everyone in the #nzcraft feed! I have a temporary workaround in place. If you "Like" the feed, then every 10 minutes your posts will be double checked and added to the feed if they were missed. It looks like some users are being ignored from the bluesky stream I listen to, including myself!
