I need to confirm a fact about european #kingfishers. I want to know if they are monogamous for life or not. I fact-checked my sources (books, internet articles mainly) and sometimes it's a yes, and sometimes, a no.

Whats up with this #bird?
It has #magpie coloring but its missing the band on the nose, and head shape is very #raven like. It also seemed a little larger than a regular magpie. Any thoughts?

We're so excited that to be in Saskatoon this year! What an amazing way to see some of Saskatchewan, a province with such diverse ecosystems and landscapes. Hopefully everyone gets a chance to enjoy the sights and see some birds!

My 5yo son and I have been watching these ducks in our little pond. The female has not been here for a full day but the male comes. He quacks flys away and comes back. Is the female w her eggs or... 5yo is very worried for her. We were hoping to one day see babies 🦆🐣

In the last couple of weeks there have been a few #goldfinches that are looking poorly at my feeders. They are flying well, but are otherwise lethargic and puffed up, and looking wet around their heads. I'm thinking trichomoniasis?
