After more than three days of voyage #OceanViking disembarked 108 survivors in the port of #Ortona. On the way to the Port of Safety, we heard powerful stories of resilience. Hope is the strength that keeps them going for the next chapter of their lives. We wish them all the best!
🟢 Die #OceanViking erreichte in den frühen Morgenstunden den zugewiesenen Hafen in #Ortona. Mittlerweile konnten alle 108 Gäste von Bord gehen. Zur Erstversorgung kamen sie in eine Croce Rossa Einrichtung in Tamarete; später sollen sie in Unterkünfte in den Abruzzen u. der Lombardei gebracht werden.

Die italienischen Behörden haben der #OceanViking den 1.296 km entfernten sicheren Hafen von #Ortona zur Anlandung der 108 Überlebenden zugewiesen. Dadurch werden wir für mehrere Tage keine Rettungseinsätze durchführen können.
