Finally rewatching #ICannotReachYou and it reminded me of 2 other JBLs within minutes. Kakeru watching a girl confess to Yamato ( #SchoolTripJoinedAGroupImNotCloseTo) and the blue popsicle ( #OurYouth) --maybe this show was more influential than I thought.
Hatuna is the first openly gay person Shiratori has met? She's a teenager in 2025. This reminds me of all the characters seemingly just discovering homosexuality in #OurYouth. What is happening in Japan, the birthplace of BL? #ChosenHomeEP1 #ChosenHome
Love Japan's habit of ending the year (with some light spillover into the next) with perfect BLs ( #SchoolTripJoinedAGroupImNotCloseTo, #OurYouth). May we get the hat trick in 2026. May the world actually survive 2026.
decided to rewatch #OurYouth and it was the best decision - personally, still 11/10 :')
#CountdownToYes is from a/the director of #MyPersonalWeatherman and a/the writer of #OurYouth. With that pedigree, I can't help but be excited.
2. #OurYouth (I know it came out mostly in 2024 but you can't judge correctly until a man finishes). One of the best JBLs ever absolutely littered with iconic scenes. I can never look at a blue popsicle the same again. The infect me scene is still ludicrously sexy.
God damn it. I keep forgetting #OurYouth technically counts as this year. I actually included it in my 2024 post as my number one drama of last year, but if other people are putting it in this year, than so will I 😂 #BL2025Wrapped

I'm a little sad that they couldn't tell their friends that they were together, but it's ok, Haruki didn't put any kind of pressure on Jin and this is what really matters

I think it's among the best series I've seen this year!
Despite the drama and trauma it remains a very soft series You can understand what both characters feel, they communicate and are always there for each other
he's no longer a mere spectator
This makes me so happy but at the same time I want to hug him tightly
I loved Haruki's pov and the scene at the cinema
Jin who delicately realises that they are like the couple they saw
That is why representations are important
